Step 1: Download and Install DVD Flick
First of all,
free download DVD flick onto your computer. In order to make a DVD that you can play on your DVD player, your video files need to be encoded in MPEG-2 format. Just copy the movie to a DVD disc, it will actually not read by DVD players. DVD Flick is able to finalize your movie files to DVD format.
Step 2: Add Titles to DVD Project
Open DVD Flick and click on
New Project button on the tool bar.
Browse your hard drives to select path to the folder, where the resulting DVD folders (AUDIO_TS, VIDEO_TS) will be saved (Project destination folder). Now click on
Add title button to import your video files to DVD Flick. Literally, DVD Flick supports almost any types of video files.
Step 3: Edit Your Titles
When you added titles to project, you may edit it. You can edit each title by double-clicking it or by clicking on it once and pressing the
Edit title button. Here you can set the number of chapters the title will have, either by entering a number or a time interval. You can also add subtitle files, different audio tracks and add another video source to the title.
Step 4: Configure Your Project Settings
Click the
Project settings button on the top to open the project's settings. The only thing you really need to set here is the
Target size (
DVD Format) under the
General tab, and the
Target format (
NTSC and PAL), and
Encoding profile (Fastest, Fast, Normal, Best) under the
Video tab.
Step 5: Burn DVD with DVD Flick
DVD Flick is able to burn project to DVD disc directly. Check the
Burn project to disc option to enable this. Make sure you have inserted a blank DVD disc. Once you’ve done all settings, click on
Create DVD button and now DVD Flick will get started to encode and burn movies to DVD disc.
