Question:
How can I convert and burn RAR files to DVD disc which can be read by normal DVD players? So I downloaded a movie which is as RAR file. I can’t play it on my computer. When I click the folder, there are like 4 parts. How can I play this movie and how do I convert them in order to burn these RAR files to a DVD disc to play on my home DVD players?
RAR files are files compressed by a program called WinRAR. To play RAR movies on your computer, you will need to extract the file using WinRAR and then you should get a real video file which can be played by media player (VLC is recommended).
Home DVD players are not able to read and play raw .rar files. To burn RAR to DVD playable disc, you will need a DVD burning software to finalize the DVD so it can be actually recognized by normal DVD players. Also, you cannot burn RAR to DVD directly, what you wanna do is to burn the video extracted from the RAR file to DVD disc.
